Sorry to hear that. If you're like me, I know how much I pamper my car and something like this would really get to me. There are a lot of people in the world who LOVE to prove that they were right and everybody else is wrong. It's a control issue and they're everywhere. Granted you were wrong and you know that but that didn't justify this guy throwing a can out his window at you which at any speed turns into a weapon. That's what they have horns for. Honk and move on! I had a similar issue when I had a Toyota pickup and this guy behind me thought I was going too slow and when he passed me, he threw a glass bottle at my truck but fortunately very little damage was done. It was late at night and I couldn't get his plate number. My many years of old man wisdom says let these creeps go. You never know what they're liable to do. All you can do is call the cops. Thats why we have insurance. Here's another example of these types of people. I was in Walmart one day and at the checkout line, I decided I didn't want the carrots that I had put in my cart. So knowing it wasn't a big deal and they would not go bad, I placed them on one of those candy/magazine shelves just before the conveyor belt. This guy who also was a customer behind me says "hey...those your carrots"? Another words he was saying to put them back, don't leave them there. I didn't respond to him but actually picked them up and gave them to the checkout lady. But that day which happened about 3 years ago will always stick in my mind. My way of internally dealing with people like this is to tell myself that they must be so unhappy with their lives that they need to display their righeousness and holier than thou, attitude. Moral of your story....tread lightly in dealing with strangers. It's a crazy world!
