Oil analysis is the way to go for anyone wanting to push their oil further. Pretty obvious.
For folks like yourself who need that extra security, then keep getting your analysis. I have yet to have one in 40+ years of car ownership along with millions of others and never had an engine failure related to oil going 'bad'. Oh, btw, I did OA at one time way back when I was in the navy. OA has it's place - in industry, race car teams, military, etc. But for the everyday guy who doesn't track his car it's a waste of money to have them tell you that your good to the next oil change. Hmmm, come to think of it, it's pretty obvious the engineers have had this figured out for decades. How do you think they came up with those oil change schedules?
