I've never tracked my Roadster but I remembered when I did my initial investigation, a Stillen rep recommend the 19 row for my climate. By deduction, a 25 rows would be recommended for 'DD and light tracking'. I only went my route because I am not sure if I will FI or how it will respond to tracking sessions, so it was safer to buy more than I needed now and make due with the blocking plate.

On that note, I have had some rethinking about how to manage the temperature to exact degree using a more sophisticated method than a blocking plate at the cooler . If you were to install a ball valve between the cooler and the engine, you can regulate exact amount of oil to the cooler. This will necessitate a bypass line to form a loop when the valve is in a close position. The down side is additional cost for the valve, bypass line and 2 t-fittings. The upside is you can regulate your oil flow to exact rate to the cooler.
