You brought up an interesting issue. I've always wondered this since the car came out. Not like it's our concern anyway. lol. But you have a valid point. It's powered by Subaru except for the direct injection tech by Toyota (but DI is kinda a standard tech nowadays in most high power output cars...duh Toyota). Certainly if one buys a BRZ, Subaru dealers would definitely be the choice for services. For FRS owners, it would become ambiguous.
