Carbon fiber is fairly difficult to work with and pretty expensive,if you dont have much experience with fiberglass I wouldnt experiment. Raw carbon fiber is 50 bucks a yard at least. Also unlike fiberglass it cant be sanded and refinished, it has to be liad right the first time. If you want the look just buy soem carbon fiber vinyl sticker by the yard for cheap
