Z Meets Wall: We Investigate Why the NISMO Z's Brakes Failed at Lightning Lap - Feature - Car and Driver

There is the answer. If the sport brakes go soft after a few track laps. crappy pads, aerodynamics, and no break cooling vent, and boiling brake fliuid. If one can cook the sport brakes the base brakes don't have a chance on the 370z. They will heat up a lot faster and fade quicker.

Aritcal states the hardware is just fine the cooling of the brakes seems to be the issue. Looking at the car I notice no cooling design what so ever. Even my Sky Redline has front vented cooled front brakes, heck even my Expedtion. Nismo 370z none??? WTF!

So let me get this we pay a lot for the car, then have to purchase upgraded pads, oil cooler, trans cooler, diff cooler, new brake fluid, and brake cooling kit to hit the track?
