I took a 2X4 block of wood and cut it to fit my floor jack lift pad. Then I lowered the blade on my table saw and cut a 3/8 inch slot about 1/2 inch deep completely across the top. Good idea, thanks.... But don't you still have to be careful where you put the wood block? If you put it under the front floor plan you will buckle it for sure. So do you have a tip for placing the block, please? TIA
