The base brakes are just as good as the sport package brakes in normal driving. Larger brakes/rotors/calipers have increased thermal capacity and can cycle constant hard braking better. Once you have enough brake force available to overcome tire traction, adding more won't make a significant difference.

...and as for the tires...they are the same type/model/brand as the ones on the Nismo, just not as wide (about a 1" difference).
