Now with that being said & I am going on a limb here that if money wasn't an issue as FairladyZ stated "if we threw money out the window", then most people would buy a high-end car & probably a GT-R over the Z. This is assuming that all your finances are in order, or taken care of (kids education, your/wife's retirement, house & etc). If your finances are not in order (or taken care of), then this would be a little be foolish. In order for me to even consider about spending $100k +- on a car I would have to be making $250k a year at least IMHO.

I honestly dont think I would maybe my perspective is a little strange. Dont get me wrong I would love to drive gtr (as well as a couple other cars nsx forester STI) but I dont think I would want to own one. I have a lot of family overseas and by there standards they think im wealthy ( dosent feel like it ) I just would rather do other stuff with my money. After being laid off and having to work crappy jobs just to keep my family a float I realize that some of the material things that are cool really dont mean much its a lesson Iwill never forget. I love cars and thats fine dont know if I would own themall I dont wanna worriy about my R8 getting a scratch or my LFA getting stolen. If things would be taken care of I can find more than enough enjoyment in the cars in 40 grand range. And if I buy used there are alot of cars I can buy (sheesh C5 zo6 at 17 grand is quite nice i just need to upgrade the interior and im set) If I must drive ferraris and GTrs and such I will go to one of those schools that let you drive them all and get it out of my system. Not knocking anyone for there choices just letting you know mine and how I think.
