Rolex uses its own in-house movements which are very expensive and accurate. They are known for the continuous sweep of the second hand which I really like. 
Lots of the other makers just use Swiss ETA these, however some have their own in-house stuff, like Omega's Co-Axial Escapement.

yah. the thing that concerns me most is the SSR GT03 im currently using on my G with brembo's is "hyper disc" for max caliper clearance, but it will not fit over the akebono's on my Z.
