That's what I mean, it should be laid out the way a sequential is. There's sound logic behind it. When you're braking and downshifting, your body/arm is being pushed forward naturally, and when you're accelerating and upshifting, the opposite. So having foward be downshift and back be upshift keeps the shifter movement in sync with the natural forces on your body.
