For those that are interested in this kit....
I am sure that a lot of you are anticipating the dyno results and some videos soon, and I hope to have that up on Sunday evening after the dyno tuning has been completed.
Once all that is out of the way, and the kit does what it is supposed to (and it will ) I will start working on the jigs for the exhaust section of the kit. This is the time consuming part, so it will not just happen overnight. The car has been on the road for some time now with the base map, so the kit has some decent miles on it. Everything is working great, so it is just a matter of a proper tune at 9psi before I can put my stamp of approval for the next phase (kit sales).
Once the jigs are built for the exhaust side, I will build the first set of pipes. After this is done the car will come back and I will test fit the piping that comes off the jig. This ensures me that the piping is perfect, and that it will bolt up to all 370z’s just the same without any fitment issues. This is a critical step in the success of a kit.
The intercooler piping and all the brackets are rather easy to duplicate and I have jigs built for those already. The hard part will be the exhaust side.
I hope to tackle this project sometime in September as I have some vacation time coming up, and a few other things to get out of the way before I can really focus on this.
