Default DIY 370z Emblem Removal

Hi Guys, I've been surfing the forum for a little bit now, and realized there was no DIY for this, at least that I could find, so I figured I would post one since I just finished doing this earlier today. Not really a big deal, but I figured it may help someone that's scared to try it.

Here are the tools I used - a flathead I had to pad with the sock to get some of the stubborn stickiness off.

I started of by trying to let some Goo Gone soak down behind the emblem...I didn't apply a whole lot here, so I'm not sure exactly how effective this was...

Then I got some floss...

and started Flossin' on 'em...

this is just the glue/tape/sticky stuff that was leftover...

Removing the glue/tape/sticky stuff with sock and Goo Gone

Edit: I did have to use a flathead screwdriver, buffered by a sock with Goo Gone on it to gently scrape some of the more stubborn glue off here. At this point, my girlfriend who took the flossing pic, was laid out tanning, so I couldn't get a pic of this, sorry.

almost there...

Finished product

but up close, I have the "Reverse PW Ghost 370z" emblem...I kinda like it, but am hoping it will go away after having some time to bake in the sun

now to find somewhere for this...

and since I gave her a bath while doing this, one more...

I hope someone finds this useful in their quest to make their Z their own.
