Yeah, when I see pics of all the newer Porsche, Ferrari, and Lambo's all coming with paddle shifters, it kinda looks like everything is heading that way. I've never owned a car with paddle shifters but I feel the need to learn to use them.
As far as being upside-down on payments, I think I should actually be about 10k ahead of the game. Plus I have some cash to throw down so the payments shouldn't be a real big issue.
Shifting isn't causing any extreme discomfort, but it isn't really helping either. Of course, I'm 47 and already taking Cosamin on a regular basis. Had knee surgery years ago and work automotive retail for 10-12 hours a day standing.
I was thinking about getting another beater car as a daily driver but then my narcissistic side came out and said: "If I drive a beater, people 90% of the time won't see me in a kick-*** Z. #### that."
Then there's the killer Midnight Blue aspect......
