You can get springs from a variety of places. A few places that I know will sell springs separately are Stance, Tein, and Ksport. Eibach, Hyperco, and Swift also sell springs. Most coilovers use a 2.5 in ID spring. Measure your coilover body to make sure that will fit. If you need springs, I'd be happy to help you get a hold of some.

Length will depend on each shock, but should fall between 6.5 to 8" from what I've seen.

KWs can't be converted iirc.

And anyone that's concerned about placing the spring on the shock and putting extra stress on that part of the car, I wouldn't worry. I've seen tons of cars that had separate spring/shock setups from the factory but were switched to "true" coilovers, taken to the track, beat on, and driven for years with no issues.
