Well, already having a stripped interior and pretty much on-track to be a track-only machine helps a lot. It means you can see and work on things easily, there's no added cost of tearing out all the interior and then re-assembling it just to do some low-level body/frame work. It also means you're willing to cut corners on aesthetics so long as it drives straight, and/or replace stuff with tube frame bits. It's totally doable. Keep the faith Spohn .
