TV tuner, the elgato? I've heard very good things about it but haven't used one myself.
I have yet to hear about issues using external mics on a Kodak Zi8.... I'm guessing the mics used with the GoPro will disappoint. But I'll stay hopeful.
Have you looked at the Sennheiser 400 mke?
