My comment is more just to poke fun at the handicap permit on the 8" lifted pick up truck - I understand it is possible it is completely legitimate. I actually specialize in accessibility codes (ADA and Texas Accessibility Standards specifically), and there are a number of requirements that people just don't get because they don't understand that being disabled doesn't necessarily = wheelchair. I believe a hearing impairment is actually sufficient to qualify for a handicap placard in some states.
