I would say that even at 55k, the car is a "performance bargain". It's unbelievable performance for the dollar, realizing that most people aren't car enthusiasts and would consider 55k for a hopped up anything a ripoff.
Even at 67k with full options, you are still getting a car that will go 200mph for half the cost of a ZR-1, and well less than R8's, Ferraris, etc. It's 35k less than a GTR.
I was simply hoping that Fiord would release a knockout blow at 55k.
Also, dealer markup is ridiculous, but I understand why they do it. They're in business to make money. If you can sucker people out of 15k just because they "gotta have it now before the Joneses", then go for it. The smart buyer isn't paying that ridiculous cost.
