this past weekend i caught back up with Brian Kleeman's SCCA World Challenge team in detroit for the Grand Prix. an event with great history, the race has not been held there in almost a decade but it returned (along with the american car industry) with a vengeance. i joined Dustin@Z1 down in carrollton and we headed north on i75 for what seemed like forever. the weekend proved unfortunate for the team however, when brian hit a tire wall towards the end of the second race of the weekend. luckily he was unharmed and the car has mostly cosmetic damage. the team is hoping to have the car put back together for mid-ohio in august followed a few weeks later by infineon (or sears point to you non-Gran Turismo players) raceway in california for the season finale. for now, enjoy...
