I recently removed a $500 "brand name" cold air intake from a 370z, and can tell you that it was on worse than any ebay stuff I have ever seen.

I have never seen aluminum tubing that thin. I was able to crush it using one hand (turning round in to oval). This intake system was clearly made in china at a cost of no more than $60, then branded and re-sold here at a ridiculous mark up. Just some food for thought I guess.
