while the post-MAF is an easy install, it can be somewhat tricky if you've not done it before. also you need to go back and re-tighten the clamps several times as they have a tendency to back out while breaking in.
when i did the HPS tubes, i removed the front strutbar (triangular shaped). not sure about the Z1 tubes, but on the HPS tubes i had to do some trimming to correct the length and also make little notches for the orientation keys that are on the stock airbox. not a big deal, but i like my installation to be perfect.

basically the stock intake system is very good already, why make it worse using some misc aftermarket bits installed sub-par, right?
as for the sensor themselves, just dont touch the metal portion. place them on a safe clean table/work bench while you're working on your car. you will need some tools to do this install. sockets, ratchet, knife, fork, spoon, etc.
