He's providing defense from people who don't care about their cars (by the appearance of his vehicle, I think he doesn't like door dings either) while leaving plenty of door swinging room in between his truck and your car.
I dunno, maybe I have just trained myself to try to find the positive in every situation. If there's no door ding, then there's definitely no foul here and you've gotten yourself worked up over nothing.
Think about this...
Maybe the owner of that truck is a regular at that karting place and you took his favourite spot, but he was cool with taking the next spot down knowing that he was still safe in no-man's land.
You could have parked further over on your passenger side.
The truck is so new that it's running a temp tag. Remember how you felt/acted when your car was brand new?
