I think its worth the money, but thats just me

You could buy standard with the 3 etunes, get one now, then in the future when you get more mods get another etune update, etc... and you'll have a tuned car pretty much the whole time. Or you could get the tuner version and just tweak the A/F yourself after each new mod... once you have a base its not too difficult.
If you're going to get on a dyno however I would wait till you're done with bolt-on's.
