Was curious how easy it would be to wire up the rear fog off of a 12v power supply to use it as an on off switch? Or would it be easier to just wire it off the OEM harness from the BCM panel or w/e it is...
once you get passed the first few 'oh my gosh i am a wimp' mods it wont feel much different thereafter. it gets more tool intensive though. if you're up to the task (and you have the time) it's worth doing it, i think. but if you have a good mechanic you can count on, i suppose letting them do the work is not a bad idea either especially if you dont feel like buying the tools and/or just have a busy schedule.

regarding the fogs...if your car has the pre-wired harness i suppose plugging into that would be pretty easy. the other end a rocker switch for the center console or was it a steering stalk?

my car did not have the pre-wire so i just ran new wires. it's just time consuming to remove the trunk liner and center console so definitely do the rear view camera/HU and perhaps dynamat while you have the liner out.

Mr.kenchan... most of your recent post are..... ... yesterday you talked about open your door to the UPS guy with your pants down... today you want guys over boobs.....

jk jk jk..... it's hump day, you know...

Back to the Z stuffs, so I went to the dealer the pick up my Z, and I look at the lining carefully and inspect everything.... still it is not perfect because their contractor is trying to fix the top instead of replace the worn part.

So I tell them I am not completely satisfy with the job, the two personnel in the service department, one adviser and one manage, trying to explain to me what's the pros and cons, the whole time they are polite and patient, so at the end, since I do not want to leave to Z to them for another week for this issue, we, both parties, agreed I can bring the Z back to them around the winter time, so I will leave the Z to them and they will replace the canvas.

Done deal for now, and the service adviser offer me either a)an oil-change or b)a detailing service....

I chose (c)... I took a grey color Nissan Polo Shirt

Well, the polo has their "Scarborough Nissan" logo on it, but what the heck, so far I am happy with them, so I wouldn't mind putting it on.

If they screw me in the future, I'll just stitch "Don't Go To" above their logo....
hey, mr.alcheng - glad to hear your canvas top ordeal is temporarily resolved + a nice new polo.

regarding my other posts... why do people keep 'fixing' my posts? i sound rediculous. hahahaha

so im going to see if i can install the car cradle tonight on my G. not sure if i have enough room for the proclip bracket. i have a feeling when i enter the 1st gear gate, my hand will bump it. hummm... may try the cubby. i wont have the hardwire microusb cable for a few more days...
