My experience has been that you can do exactly the same things in Portrait professional that you can in Photoshop but the entire process is much much easier and faster..
If you have the basic understanding of retouching that something "quick", never is "good". I'm not going to argue I do all my retouching manually. All the retouchers would laugh. It removes pore and detail structure from face yielding fake plastic skin. Detail is crucial.
