The gear type LSD's are going to be the most street friendly, quiet and well mannered (Quaife etc). But if you're not having a specific problem then there probably isn't much point upgrading.

Yep, you will notice it most when breaking the tires loose & the back end steps out on you. Also really tight clutch units can be noisy & a bit grabby around slow corners (like your Z is going to slow corner
) but as mentioned, unless you are really pushing the car Track, advanced AutoX ect. For the street, the factory LSD is more than adequate.
