Well in 2009 some guy won some invention contest for the exact idea that I had. The idea was to create a ceiling fan that would simply screw into a standard light bulb socket so that it did not have to be hard wired in. It could go from home to home or room to room no problem as you just unscrew it and screw it into another light socket. Damn it for not executing on my idea back in college.
I created the Swiffer wet jet more or less during a grade school invention contest back in like 1991 or so. I had a mop with a soda bottle about mid way on the handle that held soapy water. It had two tubes that ran out of it and down into the mops sponge. I had a little valve on the lines that could be turned on or off to let the soapy water travel down to the mop. I was told by an Exxon employee (Exxon sponsored the invention contest) that it was a terrible idea

Good meeting Serenity, will have do dinner next time you are in town. Donald you could have posted a better pic of me...lol. Looked like I catching a fly....haha. Steve thanks for the suggestion on the mic for the gopro2, mixed reviews thou on Amazon, still gonna pick it up. LaterZ
ZFORCE, I was shopping an external Hero 2 mic as well. I also took Steves advice on the Audio Technica Pro 24cm. Received it yesterday. Looks like a good little unit. Did a few sound checks on my PC with it and it sounds pretty good. Def some white noise in the background though. The price was right and the size is nice. Its very small and should be easy to mount. Cant wait for my Hero 2 to come in so I can really test it out. Just sold my first gen Hero on Monday and my new Hero2 is on order Here is a pic of the mic. Its mounted on an OPteka XGRIP that I picked up too for handheld applications. The GoPro will mount on the bottom below the mic.

GMORNING EVERYONE!!!
