So most Powdercoating shops I called up don't specializes in cars so to say. They prolly will do a good job but it's hard to find one that has needed tools to unmount/mount and balance the wheels for your car. Most places need you to figure that out on your own - they only want the Wheel itself.

So be sure you're factoring that in your price. I think normally that process easily could cost $30+/wheel.

I called up 5 places and only 1 shop in south bay area, Nor cal (which I previous took my motorcycle wheels to powdercoat) allowed me to drop off the car and will take care of all this in 3 business day turn around time. They're pretty quick. They'll repair, sandblast, powdercoat.

Most places vary in time....so far my response for turn around time was 3-4 days, 1 week, or 10-12 days. It really depends I guess. But I also heard some places will say as fast as 1 day turn around. But don't kid yourself, most places don't have the bandwidth for that.

Nice ride MattP725, is that Gunmetal body color or is it the 40th Anniversary Quartz?
