I'm asking here becasue I don't know much about all this. And it's a reputable shop - they work on mostly classics (jags and maseratis) and European exotics-my 370Z was the cheapest car in the shop - by half.
Anyone else ever run into issues with this and their installer?

Maybe I'm one of the craziest guy here!
same thing happened to me. Didnt read the manual of the testpipe and installed it without a sealant or what ever. Then after review the manual picked up the phone and call tony. Then he told me do I got cel light or sound like hiss (or whatever they call to that sound) when I step on gas pedal. Then I told him nope. Everything seem to be fine. Then he said u good to go. So far put like 1000 miles on it. But no issue or any problem. That's totally no sealant just straight installed. Hope this help your doubt. Sorry for a bad English too!
