Hey guys,

It's me again. I am still having problem shifting from 1st to 2nd so maybe someone can give me some tips. Weird because it's ok when it's cold.. But when the car is warmed up and I shift from 1st to 2nd, I usually find it hard to put it into gear smoothly. I have to push it a little harder and sometimes get a clunky noise. Every other shifts shift are smooth. I have SRM on by the way.

I did some search on the forum and found people usually rev it past 3.5k rpm on 1st before shifting it to 2nd. I've done it but still doesn't feel right. So a couple of questions:

1. What rpm do you guys shift at?
2. Do you clutch in slowly or slam it to the floor?
3. Do you take the shifter to N, then to 2nd? Or do you put it directly to 2nd?
4. Do you get any clunky noise?
5. Is there a "right" angle I need to push the stick into? Or do I just push it all the way to the left, then down?

Sorry for my noob questions. I used to drive a Mazda6 stick and it wasn't that hard on 1st to 2nd. Thanks guys.
