I have 4 modes...

Cold (oil temp under 160) Babied - keeping the engine between 2200 and 3300
Warm and in traffic, Highest gear without getting the rpm below 2000
Warm and open road, 3000-6000.
Pushing it will get the shift light to come on occasionally. Can't do much of this yet since my oil cooler isn't in yet.

Drive hard but be gentle. Thashing on a car by snapping the clutch, 2nd gear chirps, etc will distroy her. Trust me, I did this on my first 4 cars. It's a ton of fun and they'll take it for a long time. You will have higher maintenance costs, and you will distroy her in the long run. Redlining will reduce life and cause loss of power over time but rings and cams are not that difficult to replace. Cornering just wears out tires ball joints and bearings. Easy to replace. But rattles never go away. Loose drivelines, noisy rear ends and broken transmissions get expensive really quick.
