I can understand that. This was our 3rd year for ChallengerFest. I ran it last year (doubled the size over the first) and this year (50% larger than last year). I bet I had over 200 hours of work in it this year and started in November.
Definitely not for the faint of heart. After last year I swore I wouldn't do it again, but all the forum members talked me in to it. I got a committee and delegated this year. The first year I did it alone and had 400+ hours of work in. It was just too much. PLUS I was trying to move houses. NIGHTMARE! The race track nearly flooded as well and I have folks come as far as 1,000 miles away asking me about the weather and all that. Stress city.
I'm single and no kids, so I have time to mess with this stuff.
