The kit itself will be very reliable. I have customers that make 7 hour round tips a couple of times a month, and have been doing this for almost two years. Not a single issue. Once the kit is installed properly and tuned by a competent tuner, there is nothing to worry about.

I also have customers that autocross with the mid mount kit, again, no issues at all. One customer went from a twin turbo Jim Wolf kit to a mid mount, and he prefers it over the JW TT kit at the track. They key to that is a continuous duty scavenge pump motor, with a pump that is rated to pump 350deg F fluid all day. As I have said before, IMO it is the most important part of a low/mid mount turbo kit.

You can read up on it here: http://turbowerx.com/Scavenge_Pumps/.../Exa-Pump.html

350F Fluid Temperature. No other pump comes close. All the materials used in the engineering of this pump were chosen to support extreme duty at extreme temperatures - constantly.
I have these in stock at all times as well, so if anybody needs one...just let me know.
