Honestly it's a waste, in an industrial environment, you're not supposed to be working on "live" equipment anyways. You do a diagnostics, then power down and do the repair or installation, thus negating the need for a ridiculous screwdrivers/hand tools. Also if the tool has 1 nick or other damage to the protective sheath, it has lost its effectiveness to protect against danger. Try getting another tool from your employer because of a small slice in the protective casing ($$$). Not gunna happen. Now metering/diagnostic equipment, yes, they should be properly rated/classed and used appropriately.
