My dad had a 1970 240z when I was a kid. He bought his in 1975 and did auto cross and track events almost every weekend until the early 80's. Usually with me as his only crew. It was his dd for that entire time too. I remember him telling me about the Fairlady name and why it wasn't called that here in the states. To me the Fairlady moniker has as much prestige and heritage as "Boss" or "SS".
That's why the Fairlady badge was one of my first mods.
