but as others have mentioned, this interview is confusing on many fronts. most speculation until now has pegged a 2013 release date for the new G. 2014 seems really far away considering the current G was refreshed in 2010. Also, almost none of it matches with the recent trademarks registered by Infiniti (G20t, G30t, G20d, G35h). I would be pretty excited to see a DI VQ37 in the next gen Z, though. I figure that'd be good for ~355 hp with about 24/32 mpg.
Don't know if 332 to 355 is enough of a boost for a whole new car. Maybe if they dropped the car to 3000 lbs. The improved mileage would be great though.
