Ur Z is not better than any car out there. You always break even cuz at our price range we all fakin' it. Don't fool yourselves. We are not exclusive. We just not selling well that's it.
But I love my Z. And I know my Z IS NOT BETTER OR EXCLUSIVE. Its just the car I love.

At the risk of feeding a troll, I find it ironic you are dolling out commentary on what is and is not a sports car yet you have an automatic. You must really be one with your machine.
It doesn't matter how much you spend on your car, if its designed and functions as a sports car, its a a sports car.
2 seats. Tuned suspension. Good balance. Rear drive. Purpose built.
Sounds like a sports car. Porsche makes great sports and GT cars. I would present the Caymen/Boxster as their sports cars and the 911 has evolved into a GT car (save the GT3...love that 8K screamer).
Go out and find a clean 1992 Miata for 4K...you have yourself a pure bred sports car. Spending 100K more doesn't mean its a sports car.
The G37 is a GT coupe. An IPL version with the drive train of the GTR (which is hinted at by that article), will make it a super GT halo car to compete with those wanting to spend 100+K on similar cars luxury brands. Executives and such with more money to waste, not sports car enthusiasts.
People buy AMG C63's to show off..not to track. That is where the IPL would be marketed.
All the while the Z will continue to be sold for what is is: a sub 40K sports car with a rich history. I for one don't want to see a 400 HP Z: I'd rather see a 3.0l lighter car that rev's to 8K. Heck I wanted the inline 2.6 in there when they first brought it backin 200x. 2800 lbs , 240 HP 30K, smooth like Billy Dee in a Colt 45 commercial.
I never got my wish
