Our engines are designed to be revved, so there isn't going to be any harm in holding gears during more spirited driving. For day to day though, there really isn't any point, since the higher revs will wear your engine down quicker than short shifting.
I wanted to confirm because mine the car sound od loud like if the engine was ready to jump out the car and I don't know how to explain it. But sounds crazy. I don't want to mess it up. Like I said is my first manual. But Thanx for the advice.
