Well apparently all you need to do is depress the white inner shaft of the shifter to engage shifting. Theoretically you can just take any knob with an appropriately sized hole and pour a ton of quick set epoxy in it, slap it on and you should be good.

Just push the AT shifter down like you would a MT shifter to go to Reverse.



At least it sounds good in theory...
