Since you guys have the exact same steering wheel that I do and the paddle shifters are the same for Maxima/370/G37/GTR, you shouldn't have to remove the airbag to swap out the paddles.

You turn the wheel 180 degrees each way, revealing a small square plastic covering a screw on each side and take those out. Take out the screw on the bottom side and you should then start to be able to pull trim pieces off (I think top piece first). Then as they come off they expose more screws that release the other trim pieces.

Once you have the column shroud completely off, you'll see the connectors going into the paddle switch units on each side. Disconnect those, then unbolt each switch unit from each side. Reverse all the steps and you're done. Honestly shouldn't take you more than an hour!
