That looks like a fun drive. I usually come in from the Glendora side instead of the Mt. Baldy (Glendora Ridge Road) side. The cruise seems a bit anti-climatic though. There's nothing at the final destination according to your map. I understand it's not the destination but the journey. But really, there isn't even a rest stop at the end of this cruise.
A more fun and complete drive would be to take the East Fork Road to Highway 39 then go up to Crystal Lake Cafe. There's a big parking lot, restrooms, and food at the top. The drive is also pretty scenic. Although it isn't as technical and twisty as GMR or GRR, it's fun nevertheless. Just throwing the idea out there.
Last month some WRX guys came out and played in the snow.
Two weeks later when the weather got better, the Corvette guys came out.
