yah, cars these days dont really need so many fluid changes unless it's tracked imho. so yah, twice would be more than enough. i do my change every spring/early summer once a year since i only put 5k miles max every year.
my Z's at 8400miles since Aug2009.
i only follow nissan's maintenance Schedule2. i looked over my 8yr old G's schedule plan last night and it doesn't even recommend brake/diff/MT oil changes at all.
i do the brake fluid and coolant change every 2yrs since i think it's better for the car after the 4th yr. diff and MT fluid... (especially MT fluid) questionable unless it's super stiff or something going into the gates. G did fine even at 2F so i dont care to change it.
