Hip-Hop, which I would consider a sub-genre of rap, has many talented lyricists. Lupe is one of them for sure. I loved the work he did with Mike Shinoda on the Fort Minor album. That is an awesome album.

I'll agree anyone who can plan a instrument as good as they do, and have the intensity that they do when they play. No matter what that instrument it... Hell even someone beatboxing, or battling off the top of their head. For sure is in their own way creating something from inspiration. So I to them.

And I'll also agree with you that when you're doing whatever, sometimes you're just in the mood for a certain song/artist/genre and rap sometimes is one of them. Usually when it's a party or something or I just wanna laugh. But even still. It happens.
Glad I cleared that up for ya. Now back to the music!
