I'm not sure what to tell you other than you are over-simplifying the actual engineering challenge by about 10^7 percent, and again, to make a kit that would almost certainly perform no better or worse than a low mount twin kit.

Most companies building these kits are doing so to make money and not one-offs to make people "happy in the pants." That whole recession thing has changed a lot of shop's thinking.
