This is true. The Dallas PD has been involved in too many accidents involving hitting pedestrians and vehicles resulting in personal injuries and death. Public outcry has resulted in having them back off and using traffic cameras and helicopters more to keep track of the suspects and then like stated above, get into a less populated area and stop the assailant.
