With the SVT package both the mustang and ZL1 have magnetic suspensions. The only difference is that the ZL1 has 3 selectable setting and the mustang has 2.

And yes we've gone over the IRS vs the SRA.

All things being equal the IRS is a more desirable suspension, but all things aren't equal. The ZL1 has a significant weight disadvantage, less power and lower top speed.

What are muscle cars built for? The quarter mile- advantage GT500. On the track I bet they will be close. Just because on paper the IRS is a better suspension doesn't mean the the camaro still doesn't need to slow way down because of its weight. The same weight that will effect the camaro's acceleration out of the turns.
