When I first got the Z I had a Samsung Galaxy S phone... it didn't work well at all with the bluetooth receiver. The people I talked to said it sounded awful and there was a bad echo effect, and I tried everything to reduce it.

Now I have a Galaxy Nexus and zero problems. I'm convinced the phone has a lot (if not all) to do with it. For better or worse.
