I have tried all sorts of different short shifters in various cars. I always end up with a B&M shifter in the end. Less noise, improved shifting and quality built. I have two presently. One in my Corvette and one in my Firebird. Previously, I had one in my 350Z and it was quiet and it improved the shifting. It was a super short throw and seemed to take out the notchiness.

I have a 370Z with a S7. Had I bought a 370Z with a manual shift, one of the first things I would have bought would have been a short shifter and modified the clutch linkage for better take up as I did in my 350Z. Night and Day difference imo.
