Fitment on my EVO X Seibon hood (most recent seibon purchase) was piss poor also, even after adjusting, you could almost fit a wallet on one side in the gap. The finish also had massive "waves" in it in, very noticeable when the sun was bright out. Couple of spots with bad CF weave.

Called the vendor knowing what was going to happen.....nothing. I have seen "one" out of "many" Seibon hood locally that fit well, appeared to be finished well, this is all without looking close up.

We get Seibon for the looks and sometimes ventilation, plain and simple. Unless you go with dry carbon, it's "significantly" heavier that many factory hoods/trunks. At least they could make it look perfect if it won't fit perfect.

I think when you order Seibon, unfortunately we have lowered our standards since it is so common. Once we see a defect or two, we just deal with it. I myself, won't be getting anything Seibon for my current or future cars.
